Welcome to Oddly Brewed: Where the Coast Meets Creativity

Hey there! I’m Haley — a Gen Z small business owner, candle maker, and full-time online student with a love for all things coastal, creative, and handmade. I founded Oddly Brewed back in 2020 with little more than a dream and a lot of curiosity. What started as a fun side hustle during a weird time in the world has since grown into a full-blown coastal lifestyle brand based right here in New Jersey.
So, what came first — the products or the brand? For me, it was the brand. The vibe. The feeling. I knew I wanted to build something that felt like a breath of salty air, like long summer days and late-night candlelight. I experimented with all kinds of handmade creations in the early days, learning what resonated with people — and with me.
Fast forward a few years, and my heart landed in candles — organic soy wax, non-toxic fragrances, and reusable jars that feel as good as they smell. From there, the rest followed: glass-beaded jewelry with a hint of pearls, beach-town apparel, organic surf wax, and other lifestyle pieces I call “coastal goods.”
Every item is crafted by hand in my little home studio — no factory lines, just small-batch goodness with a whole lot of heart.
My mission? To create a candle and lifestyle brand that reflects our generation’s bold creativity, love for tradition, and coastal spirit.
